Environmental simulation

Climate and mechanical strength

Environmental tests in our laboratory give you the guaranty that your electronic devices work reliably under various conditions. Environmental conditions have a major impact on their working life, functionality and reliability. To avoid adverse effects we can give you support already during the whole development phase. International standards and standardized test regulations determine our test procedures. Our climate cabinets are available in various dimensions, and we cooperate with you on mechanical-dynamic stress tests as part of complete type tests.

Climate tests

  • temperature range: - 40 ° C to + 180 ° C
  • relative humidity range: 10% to 98% at 10 ° C to 90 ° C
  • heat compensation: 400 W at 25 ° C ... 90 ° C and relative humidity = <90%
  • temperature gradient: up to 5 K / min
  • test room dimensions: W x D x H = maximum 675 x 650 x 745 mm
  • maximum test object dimensions: approx. 1/3 of the test room volume

We test according to the following standards

  • EN 60068-2-1 environmental tests test group A: cold
  • EN 60068-2-2 environmental tests, test group B: dry heat
  • EN 60068-2-14 Environmental tests Test N: temperature changes and temperature shock
  • EN 60068-2-30 environmental tests test Db: moist heat, cyclic
  • EN 60068-2-38 environmental tests test Z / AD: temperature / humidity, cyclical

Mechanical strength (in cooperation)

  • vibration
  • shock
  • combined mechanical-climatic tests

We test according to the following standards, among others

  • EN 60068-2-6 environmental tests test Fc: swinging, sinusoidal
  • EN 60068-2-27 environmental tests test Ea: shock
  • EN 60068-2-29 environmental tests test Eb: continuous shock
